Biography

Daniel Adamo was a tango and milonga singer active in Argentina during the 1940s. He is documented for a recording session held in Buenos Aires on August 4, 1944, in which he performed with vocalist Alberto Serna and the Orquesta Antonio Rodio. The session produced two recordings released on the Odeon label: the tango “Cuatro campanadas” (composed by Mario Maurano with lyrics by Lito Bayardo) and the milonga “Paloma paloma” (composed by Víctor Donato with lyrics by José Rolla). Beyond these recordings, limited biographical information is available, and his birth and death dates remain undocumented.

Sources note: No conflicting information found across sources. The two recordings from August 4, 1944 are consistently documented in the Todotango database with matching catalog numbers (Odeon 7606 14003 and 7606 14002).
